And now it appears that the HTC Amaze 4G has become a victim as well. According to an email obtained by TmoNews, customers ordering the HTC Amaze 4G from T-Mobile.com are being told their order “has been delayed due to an unforeseen issue with receiving the product from the manufacturer.“ And that they don’t have any information on when it might become available.

Sounds like the same sort of language that Sprint used when speaking about the delay of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Meanwhile T-Mobile is suggesting the Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G instead, which isn’t nearly as nice of a device. The Amaze 4G is most likely still available in your local T-Mobile store or from other phone retailers. But this can’t be good news for HTC which has already been losing market share to Samsung, and now they’re missing out on countless sales due to delayed shipments.

Two weeks ago, it was announced that more carriers would be getting a carrier billing option for Books, Music and Videos in the Google Play Store. Sprint was one of three US carriers on the list, and now it’s been enabled for the Now Network. Sprint customers, go wild buying whatever you want from the Play Store and don’t worry about paying for it till your bill comes due.

Carrier billing is a great option for those that don’t want to use a credit card or don’t have one. But it can also be a bit dangerous to have the ability to spend money on books and music all willy nilly then getting bill-shock at the end of the month.

Sprint seems to think that the more press releases they put out, the more phones they will sell. So today they put out a whopping 10 press releases to tell you that the following Sprint stores will be opening at 8am on Friday, May 18th for the HTC EVO 4G LTE launch. Yep, a press release for each city.

AT&T announced a bunch of new devices back at CES that they had planned for the first half of 2012. We’re sill waiting on the Sony Xperia Ion and the Samsung Skyrocket HD. And now we may know when the Xperia Ion is going to get released. It appears that someone pulled the trigger on an ad in Google Search just a bit too early. As you can see above, the ad says the 4G LTE device with a 21MP camera is coming to AT&T in June. We haven’t heard anything official from AT&T yet, but the ad appears to come directly from them.

With CTIA going on this week, we can only assume AT&T will announce the Xperia Ion release dates and pricing, etc. But that one little Google ad seems to have already stolen their thunder.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen a phone outed early due to a prematurely launched ad. The one that stands out in recent memory was the Sprint Galaxy Nexus, that was spotted in an ad before an official announcement.

When shopping around for a new phone, most of us try to find the best deal instead of just plunking down whatever the carrier charges in the store. If you’re in the market for a Galaxy Nexus on Sprint, this deal is about the best around right now. Amazon Wireless is now selling the Sprint Galaxy Nexus for only $149 with a two year contract, that’s $50 cheaper than from Sprint. On top of that, you get a $50 Google Wallet credit, so essentially you’re saving $100 over retail pricing.

The Galaxy Nexus is currently listed as in stock and you get free two-day shipping from Amazon. So if you don’t mind waiting 48 hours for your new phone, you can save yourself a full Benjamin in cash.

If you’re going to buy a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, that one is even cheaper at only $49 with a two year contract.

Samsung’s US sign-up page for the Galaxy S III may have given us a hint as to which US carriers the phone will be hitting when it lands this summer. The page originally had a drop down box for carrier preference selection listing AT&T, C Spire Wireless, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon. The big four carriers seem obvious, but almost no one has heard of C Spire. And Metro PCS seems like an odd choice since it’s a pre-paid carrier and the Galaxy S III is likely to be very expensive outside of carrier subsidized pricing.

While this may hint at which carriers will see the S III, Samsung has already changed the sign-up page, now only asking for name, email and zip code. If you would like the latest release info straight from Samsung, feel free to head over there and fill out the form.

Amazon Wireless almost always sells phones cheaper than you can get them anywhere else. And sometimes they go a little crazy with the deals. Right now all of Sprint’s 4G devices are only $0.01 with a new two year contract. That’s right, only a penny for all 4G devices that you would still be paying $199 for at a Sprint store.

The deal is good only while supplies last, so if you’re in the market for a new phone, jump on this deal right away before it’s gone. Here’s a list of the devices on sale:

Sprint has opened up pre-orders today for its own 4G LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Priced at $199 with a two year contract, you can plunk down your money today. The in store availability date is April 22nd, so customers that order today can expect their order to be delivered by then.

In an effort to promote Google Wallet on the Galaxy Nexus (which is lacking from the Verizon version), customers who purchase before May 22nd and activate Google Wallet will get treated to a free $50 credit in their Wallet account. And hey, no one can argue with free money.

Aside from the Google Wallet difference, the rest of the specs are the same as the Verizon and international versions: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.65-inch HD display, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Face Unlock and Android Beam.

It’s no secret that HTC’s latest flagship device is ready to land on AT&T soon, we heard that when the One X was first announced by HTC. Although it’s already available in the UK and other markets, we’re still in the dark as to a release date for AT&T here in the US.

According to a trusted source of BGR, the One X release date may be announced by AT&T as early as tomorrow, and available by next week. The AT&T version of the One X does away with the quad-core Tegra 3 and opts for a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset instead for LTE support, although early benchmarks indicate it’s really not that much slower. And unlike Sprint’s redesign work for the EVO 4G LTE, the AT&T model should be nearly identical to the international version.
