AT&T announced a bunch of new devices back at CES that they had planned for the first half of 2012. We’re sill waiting on the Sony Xperia Ion and the Samsung Skyrocket HD. And now we may know when the Xperia Ion is going to get released. It appears that someone pulled the trigger on an ad in Google Search just a bit too early. As you can see above, the ad says the 4G LTE device with a 21MP camera is coming to AT&T in June. We haven’t heard anything official from AT&T yet, but the ad appears to come directly from them.

With CTIA going on this week, we can only assume AT&T will announce the Xperia Ion release dates and pricing, etc. But that one little Google ad seems to have already stolen their thunder.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen a phone outed early due to a prematurely launched ad. The one that stands out in recent memory was the Sprint Galaxy Nexus, that was spotted in an ad before an official announcement.

There’s been rumors floating around of the Samsung Galaxy Note coming to T-Mobile since a user agent string was spotted matching the specs and sporting the T-Mobile flavored model number SCH-T879. And now the magenta variant of the 5.3 monster phone has been spotted in the wild with T-Mobile branding and apps specific to the carrier.

We don’t expect the device to be much different from the AT&T version, since it’s already been possible to use the unlocked AT&T Galaxy Note with T-Mobile. Although there’s no word on pricing or release dates yet, we’re hoping to hear this announced soon.

Sprint announced they would be carrying the Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE way back at CES in January. But as is all too common with these type of early announcements, they neglected to tell us exactly when it might be available and for how much. The Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus passed through the FCC recently, which is usually a sign of an impending launch. And we may now have a clue as to an actually release date.

According to this document obtained by The Verge, it points to an April 22nd release. The document is said to originate from a Sam’s Club store, and may not reflect Sprint’s actual sale date. But at least we have more of an idea than “mid-year” when Sprint’s LTE towers actually go live.

Sprint’s Galaxy Nexus is nearly identical to the Verizon version of the device. The only differences being the confirmed addition of Google Wallet and a rumored bump in processor speed to 1.5Ghz.

Additional tidbits of info say that the LG Viper, Sprint’s other LTE device will be out on April 15th.

The Samsung SPH-L700 has passed through the FCC recently, for those of you keeping track, it’s Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Goodbye Wi-Max and hello to LTE. The Galaxy Nexus will be one of the first to launch on Sprint’s new 4G LTE network later this year. The SPH-L700 is rocking LTE band 25, which is the 1900Mhz flavor that Sprint is using for their LTE along with support for 850/1900 CDMA (Sprint 3G), Bluetooth and NFC.

The Sprint Galaxy Nexus is still set to launch in the first half of 2012 alongside the launch of the LTE network. But we’re still a ways away from any exact release dates. If you’re on the fence about a new Sprint smartphone, this is the one to wait for.

The Samsung Galaxy Note will be available from AT&T starting February 19th, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a head start looking at the source code. Samsung has a pretty good track record for releasing source code on or before release dates for new handsets and the AT&T Galaxy Note is no exception. The source code is now available for developers, ROM builders and modders via the Samsung Open Source Center. Just download via the model number for the AT&T Note, the SGH-I717.

We’ve seen these leaked renders of the HTC Ville before, one of HTC’s next generation powerful flagship phones. The Ville is rumored to have a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor, 4.3 inch qHD display, high quality camera and come in just under 8mm. It will ship with Ice Cream Sandwich layered with the latest HTC Sense.

Now PocketNow has recently learned that the Ville will be coming to T-Mobile sometime this Spring. This comes as no surprise considering T-Mobile’s love for high end HTC devices such as the Sensation, MyTouch 4G Slide and Amaze 4G. We haven’t heard any release dates rumored, but wouldn’t be surprised if it landed on one of the days in the recently leaked T-Mobile Q1 roadmap including Jan 18th, Feb 15th and March 21st.

According to this Verizon advertising roadmap obtained by Droid Life, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be landing right around the time of Black Friday. The schedule you see here is for advertising, but lines up closely with release dates. The Motorola Droid RAZR is already up for pre-order and landing on November 10th, which is reflected by the schedule. And the HTC Rezound is expected anywhere from Nov 10th to the 14th.

Black Friday falls on Nov 25th this year, so we could see the Galaxy Nexus launched either on Black Friday or shortly thereafter. We all know how Verizon loves their Thursday releases, but somehow I just don’t see them launching a phone on Thanksgiving Day, no matter how thankful so many Android people would be.

Of course, none of this is solid information, we still need Verizon to officially announce a release date, but it’s something to go on for now.
