Ever wish your phone could do things on its own? Such as turn down screen brightness when you battery drops below a certain amount, or turn off your ringer when you’re sleeping or at work? There’s currently a handful of apps available that let you automate certain tasks on your Android phone, but it looks like Motorola is trying to simplify the process with Smart Actions, available on the Droid RAZR. This short promo video shows off a couple of the things you can do with Smart Actions, and there’s a more comprehensive overview available on Motorola’s website.

The HTC Rezound will be available from Verizon starting November 14th for $299 with a two year contract.

There’s a new pair of promo videos out for the recently announced Motorola RAZR. The first is a general video with tons of CGI and highlights most of the features of the phone, with the tagline Smarter, Faster, Stronger. There’s a lack of Droid branding and copious amounts of robots because they’re just Motorola ads, not from Verizon.

The second video is a European ad spot, and it attempts to show us how the RAZR is thin and sexy enough to attract a woman’s attention in an elevator, while its Kevlar body is also strong enough to hold up to some serious abuse. Don’t try this one at home, folks:

Not much to see here but a quick promo video for the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus showing off the phone and some new features of Ice Cream Sandwich. Google’s official Nexus page is live where you can see some highlights of the device as well as register for updates on when and where it will be available in November. According to these images obtained by PocketNow, the answer is yes. Although nothing official has been announced, the evidence from the photos is overwhelming. From promo materials and displays, all the way to the redesigned YouTube page, take it with a grain of salt, but this stuff would be hard to fake.

Sprint already announced their intention to bring the Flyer stateside as the HTC EVO View this Summer, but T-Mobile has yet to announce anything tablet-wise beyond the LG G-Slate tablet. Hit the source link for more photos.

Big Camera Button solves that little problem by turning your entire screen into a shutter button. It’s a simple application that starts up like the regular camera with options and settings. Hitting the “shutter” button brings up the full screen shutter. Take your picture, simple as that.
