When shopping around for a new phone, most of us try to find the best deal instead of just plunking down whatever the carrier charges in the store. If you’re in the market for a Galaxy Nexus on Sprint, this deal is about the best around right now. Amazon Wireless is now selling the Sprint Galaxy Nexus for only $149 with a two year contract, that’s $50 cheaper than from Sprint. On top of that, you get a $50 Google Wallet credit, so essentially you’re saving $100 over retail pricing.

The Galaxy Nexus is currently listed as in stock and you get free two-day shipping from Amazon. So if you don’t mind waiting 48 hours for your new phone, you can save yourself a full Benjamin in cash.

If you’re going to buy a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, that one is even cheaper at only $49 with a two year contract.

[Amazon Wireless]

Samsung’s US sign-up page for the Galaxy S III may have given us a hint as to which US carriers the phone will be hitting when it lands this summer. The page originally had a drop down box for carrier preference selection listing AT&T, C Spire Wireless, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon. The big four carriers seem obvious, but almost no one has heard of C Spire. And Metro PCS seems like an odd choice since it’s a pre-paid carrier and the Galaxy S III is likely to be very expensive outside of carrier subsidized pricing.

While this may hint at which carriers will see the S III, Samsung has already changed the sign-up page, now only asking for name, email and zip code. If you would like the latest release info straight from Samsung, feel free to head over there and fill out the form.

There’s been rumors floating around of the Samsung Galaxy Note coming to T-Mobile since a user agent string was spotted matching the specs and sporting the T-Mobile flavored model number SCH-T879. And now the magenta variant of the 5.3 monster phone has been spotted in the wild with T-Mobile branding and apps specific to the carrier.

We don’t expect the device to be much different from the AT&T version, since it’s already been possible to use the unlocked AT&T Galaxy Note with T-Mobile. Although there’s no word on pricing or release dates yet, we’re hoping to hear this announced soon.

We’re all patiently waiting for tonight’s event with HTC and T-Mobile where they’re expected to announce the One S availability and pricing with much fanfare. But a little sneak peak has made it’s way onto T-Mobile’s website. Not quite all the details we hoped for, but we now know the full retail pricing of the HTC One S will be $599.99 with no contract. What will the two year contract price be? We can only guess $199, but we’ll have to wait till tonight for confirmation. The expected launch date is still lined up for one week from now on April 25th, as spotted on multiple documents.

With T-Mobile and HTC planning an event for next week, we’re guessing that’s when we’ll be finding out exact dates and pricing. But for now all we have is these dummy phone pictures to look at.

Samsung has just announced a new addition to the Galaxy Note line-up for the South Korean market. Little has changed aside from the color which is now a pastel hue that Samsung has dubbed Berry Pink. The included S-Pen is also given the pink paint job, but all internal specs remain the same.

There’s no word on pricing, but it will likely be priced the same as the other color Galaxy Note devices. There’s also no word if we’ll ever see this in the US, but those that love pink gadgets always have the import option.

Samsung and Verizon introduced us to the LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 back in January at CES. However they neglected to give any details about pricing or release date other than “in the coming weeks.” Now according to this product information sheet uncovered by Droid Life, we have answers to those questions.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 should be landing on March 1st, which is Thursday of this week. Pricing is pegged at $499 on contract, and $699 full retail. Ouch. A bit steep when you could get a much more powerful WiFi-only tablet for that price or cheaper. But for those that think 7.7 inches is the perfect size for a tablet and absolutely must have high-speed LTE connectivity on the go, mark your calendars for the first of the month.

The HTC One X was only just made official by HTC yesterday and electronics retailer Best Buy is already accepting pre-orders for the device when it comes to AT&T in the coming months. Since AT&T has neglected to give a firm release date yet, Best Buy is shooting for the vague launch time of April. And with the lack of pricing, a pre-order at Best Buy will require a $50 down payment, and the unknown balance to be paid later.

As you may recall from the announcement, the international version of the HTC One X is packing the quad-core Tegra 3 processor. However since the Tegra 3 doesn’t play nice with AT&T’s LTE network, the AT&T One X will have a dual core Snapdragon S4 instead.

Anyone impressed with the phone enough to hop on over to their local Best Buy and reserve your One X today? Or would you rather wait till it’s released?

With the Motorola Droid 4 right around the corner, Verizon is looking to clear out their stock of Droid 3 handsets. They’ve recently cut $100 off the price of the Droid 3, bringing it down to just $99.99 with a 2 year contract. If you’re looking for a solid QWERTY device and don’t care much about LTE connectivity, the Droid 3 is a solid bet, featuring a 1GHz processor, 4-inch qHD display, 8MP camera, and a 5 row slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

However if you’re passing on the Droid 3 and waiting for the 4th generation, it’s rumored to be coming next month, and the latest MAP pricing points to a $249 price tag.

We should note that if you’re looking for an even better deal on the Droid 3, you can get if from Amazon Wireless for only a penny with a new two year contract.
