The mysterious HTC supersonic, rumored to be headed to Sprint and running on their 4G WiMax network was caught on film briefly. Slim details are known other than that it’s running Android, it will be blazing fast, and sports a 4.3 inch display. Check out the video clip and start drooling.
I had a little chuckle and a little frown at this unboxing video. Unboxing videos are generally crap, but this one is worth a look. It’s a bit long, but skip ahead to about the 1 minute mark for the action. Nobody likes to see a brand new phone destroyed, especially if it’s an Android phone.

Just a quick video here of the HTC Tattoo showing off some of it’s features. Those familiar with the Hero will recognize most of what’s going on here, but it’s the differences that we’re most interested in. Audio is German I believe, so if you don’t speak it, you can just mute the video and enjoy the Android goodness.
Here’s just a quick video showing of some of the features of the new Motorola CLIQ from the Mobilize conference yesterday. Even if you can’t go to conferences yourself, you always know someone will be there with a video camera.
If you thought “Rosie” aka Sense UI on the HTC Hero was hot, wait till you see what Sony Ericsson has in store for us on the rumored upcoming Xperia “Rachael” handset. Posted over at an unofficial Sony Ericsson blog is the above video, showing off a very slick UI, similar to HTC Sense, but with more eye candy. We already showed you the leaked pictures and some of the specs on the Sony Ericsson Xperia handset that is rumored to be running this version of Android, and it definately has the hardware to pull it off. Between this and Sense, Apple is going to have their hands full at trying to keep Android from eating up its share of the smart phone market.
From T-Mobile’s official YouTube account, it’s the promo video for the myTouch 3G. The preorder is live for current T-Mobile customers to order one, with arrival dates between July 29th and August 3rd. And the public launch date the first week of August.
From the same developer that brought us Nesoid, the great NES emulator, Android users can now enjoy Gensoid, a great Sega Genesis emulator that works nearly perfectly. Crunchgear posted a great video that shows off what it can do. And you can pick it up for only $2.99 from the Android Market. It will play pretty much any Genesis ROM out there, and let’s you save the game state of each individual ROM. Instead of going through a whole walk-through, I’ll let the video speak for itself. But I highly recommend this one, well worth the price of a latte for hours and hours of entertainment.
Let’s hope “yongzh” is working on more excellent emulators and games for us.
