Kodak Ektra goes on sale December 9 for €499

Camera centric phones have never sold very well, just look at the Nokia Pureview or the Galaxy Zoom family. But that’s not stopping Kodak from releasing an Android phone called the Kodak Ektra. Featuring a 21MP camera on the back (which looks like an old school camera) and a 13MP shooter up front. Toss in some funky camera features like Super 8 VCR mode, a healthy 3GB of RAM, 3,000MaH battery and USB type-C and you have the Kodak Ektra.

It’s good to see manufacturers are still willing to put out some weird designs, breaking the mold of the rounded corner rectangle slab.
