Verizon and AT&T will not have the 50GB of free DropBox storage on the Galaxy S III

Samsung may have stood up to the carriers when it came to the looks of the Galaxy S III, this time offering a unified look across all variants, but at least two carriers have pushed back. Both Verizon and AT&T have opted out of the 50GB of DropBox storage free for 2 years with the Galaxy S III.

If you pre-order the device through either of these carriers and were looking forward to the free cloud storage, you’re going to be in for a bit of a disappointment. There’s no official word if Sprint, T-Mobile or US Cellular have also opted out, but if they’re still offering the promo, it may be a swaying factor for customers looking for extra storage.
