
According to BGR, Microsoft is planning on releasing a version of their Office suite for Android tablets (as well as iOS). The source has claimed to have already seen a version running on an iPad. And that Microsoft is aiming for a November release date.
While there’s no shortage of various document editing apps for Android that can handle MS formats including Google Docs, it wouldn’t hurt to have a big player put out an official app. There’s no word on what pricing might look like, but let’s hope it’s far less than the $150 or so the desktop version sells for.
