If you’ve been on the internet for a while, you’ve probably heard of Eventbrite. It’s a website for people to create and manage events and sell tickets from neighborhood meetups to concerts or large gatherings like the Big Android BBQ.
Eventbrite’s recently launched Android app allows you to browse new events, view all the event you’re attending and even pull up your ticket barcode right from your phone for a paperless experience. There’s also features for sharing event info with friends, mapping directions to the event’s location or contacting the coordinator. It seems the only thing missing is the ability to create a new event, a task probably easier accomplished on the full website.
