Original Asus Transformer and Eee Pad Slider to get Android 4.0 shortly after the Transformer Prime

The Asus Transformer Prime is getting the Android 4.0 upgrade starting Jan 12th, but what about the original Asus Eee Pad Transformer (TF101) and the Eee Pad Slider? Although no specific dates were given, Asus has confirmed via their UK Facebook page that the TF101 (Eee Pad Transformer) and the SL101 (Eee Pad Slider) should be getting the Ice Cream Sandwich “ASAP after the Prime’s update”.

We expect to hear some exact roll-out dates as well as a change log from Asus next week. The OG Transformer and Slider might only have half as many processor cores as the Transformer Prime, but they’re both still solid devices and good to know their firmware will be the newest Android version available.
