If you’re in the 25-30 age range, you probably remember playing Oregon Trail back in middle school on an Apple II with the big floppy drives. If not, you’ll probably still find enjoyment from the game. The concept is still the same, you’re a pioneer in the old west just trying to survive. Although this settler edition is a bit different in that you setup your own farm, animals, buildings and crops. Has a kind of Sim City or Farmville feel to it, but with the Oregon Trail theme. There’s also hunting and fishing mini games, stampedes of buffalo and bandit attacks to keep you on your toes. All that for the low price of free, how could you complain. It’s available now in the Android Market for devices running Android 2.0.1 and up.
