Dell Streak 7 discontinued, rides off into the sunset

The Dell Streak 7 tablet was never well loved due to many Honeycomb tablets being released around the same time. And just like that, it’s been discontinued. After disappearing from the T-Mobile website earlier this year, it’s now listed on Dell’s website as unavailable and invites you to browse other products. The Honeycomb upgrade came for users of the WiFi-only Dell Streak 7, but not for T-Mobile customers, and likely will never arrive. Although there’s been various rumors of other Android tablets from Dell in the pipeline, it seems most will never develop as Dell seems more interested in WP7 and Windows 8 devices. If you’re looking for a 7 inch tablet, now might be the time to pick up a Streak 7 from Ebay.
