While Adobe may be halting development for Flash on the mobile platform, that doesn’t mean a few more updates will come. Out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus does not have support for Flash or Adobe AIR, but according to a blog post from the Adobe team, it’s coming in December. The post specifically mentions only the Galaxy Nexus, there’s no word on compatibility for upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich devices. It’s good news for lovers of Flash and AIR for the short term. But in the long run HTML5 will be the future of rich media on mobile devices.
