Although it can’t be found by searching for Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Amazon or Amazon Wireless sites, we came across a listing on Amazon Wireless for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon. Strangely enough the placeholder page is listed as the “Samsung Galaxy S II Nexus Prime 4G Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)”, but we all know the device they’re talking about and it’s a recent addition to Amazon Wireless.
The actually listing page for the Galaxy Nexus has no picture, no price, and the only real information is that it says backordered for 1-2 weeks. Which makes sense considering all the rumored launch dates. The price you see in the screenshot above is via the Amazon Affiliate page, and $249 would be the price for a new two year contract, upgrades and add-a-line may be different.
It’s happened before that Amazon pulled the trigger and a phone page went live before it was supposed to, so there’s a chance this listing will disappear. But we feel confident that will at least be Amazon’s pricing when the Galaxy Nexus actually becomes available.
