Verizon’s cheapest 4G LTE smartphone went on sale today, the Pantech Breakout. At only $99, it’s certainly more attractive pricewise than say a Thunderbolt or Droid Bionic. The Breakout has a 1Ghz processor, 4-inch 480×800 touchscreen, 5MP rear camera, 8GB microSD card, Android 2.3 and Swype pre-loaded. Purchasing the phone through Verizon’s website will forgo the $50 mail-in-rebate for an instant discount and also land you free overnight shipping.
