A new Samsung slider phone has been spotted with Boost Mobile branding. The phone, model number SPH-M930 is a follow up to Sprint’s Samsung Transform (SPH-M920) and bears a bit of physical resemblance. Although many manufacturers are shying away from physical keyboards, Samsung knows there’s some demand and isn’t afraid to fill it.
The SPH-M930 doesn’t have a real name yet, but it does have a 1Ghz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, HVGA resolution screen, a low-res 2 or 3MP rear camera and what appears to be a front-facing camera as well. It’s said to probably launch in a month or two, and should ship with Android 2.3 out of the box. With Boost Mobile’s unlimited texting packages, there will be a bunch of happy texters when this handset finally makes it to store shelves.
