Samsung reports over 3 million preorders for the Galaxy S II

Although these are just pre-order numbers, eventually all those will translate into actual sales. Samsung is reporting they have over 3 million preorders for the Samsung Galaxy S II. Already available in Europe and Asia, the phone will eventually make it to 120 countries and 140 different carriers. The original Galaxy S sold over 10 million units in 2010, so similar numbers are expected for the successor. No US launch has been announced as of yet, but AT&T and T-Mobile would be likely carriers. But we might be lucky enough to see the Galaxy S II on the “Big Four”, like the first one.
