Words With Friends updated, promises paid version and Honeycomb support soon

The popular Scrabble game Words With Friends was recently updated in the Android Market. Along with some bug-fixes and under-the-hood, Zynga has also promised they’ll be releasing an ad-free version soon (hopefully $0.99), as well as Honeycomb support. Many XOOM owners have been reporting the game does not translate very well onto a Honeycomb tablet.

It should also be noted Zynga recommends uninstalling the game before installing the most recent update, as it may cause issues.

My galaxy s2 does not always notify me of any moves. Sometimes I’ll get a visual notification & vibration but no sound, sometimes I get nothing at all. Anyone else have these problems? It’s annoying not knowing when someone has made a move. I have unilstalled & restalled the game many times. Any advice will be gratefull received.

why the F**K isn’t there paid versions for so many apps?  I get so sick and tired of having ads shoved in my face every day no matter what I do, you can’t get a way from it. The last thing I want is to have ads on my phone.  I paid for the phone, I pay for the service, and I would like to pay for the apps and have no ads.  Make an ad free version and I will pay for it, I will not use aps that have ads.
