Still just a rumor at this point, since no specific date has been announced, but it looks like Sprint is aiming at early May to upgrade HTC Hero and Samsung Moment handsets to Android 2.1 according to these screenshots. Even though both have already been rooted and 2.1 hacked onto them, this will be the official deal here. And it looks like they’re holding to their promise of 2010 Q2.
