GeekPhone ONE taking shape, now packing a QWERTY

The GeeksPhone ONE has been around for quite a while now, at least in concept. The latest generation of the device, known as the ONE R2, is now packing a sliding QWERTY keyboard. Still not ready for launch, but it just keeps getting better. It’s been pushed back from November, to possibly January now. The phone is becoming very popular in the open source community, as it is supposed to be 100% free software.

This is the specs list as of 2 days ago from the GeeksPhone forums:

    Yes the phone isn’t perfect but its supposed to be truely open source.
