Sunno S880 to run Android and Windows Mobile

August 28th, 2009

This is the Sunno S880 a new smart phone headed to China around the middle of October. What makes is unique is that it will be running Android and Windows Mobile. It’s unclear if it’s a dual-boot configuration or simultaneous running of both OSes. Specs include a 806MHz processor, 8-MP camera, 3.6″ WVGA display, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi connectivity and 128MB or 256MB RAM. No word on if this will be coming to Europe or North America, but you can bet people will at least be talking about it.

I will more than happy to see if it uses Intel QX9550 as its processor.

I bought one and it’s 5 MP camera not 8. And very plastic feeling. And very expensive, 246USD. And it’s not possible to change OS, only Mobile. If anyone knows how to change to Android please write instructions. The battery finish quite fast also. Don’t buy this one!

I want to buy a camera Smartphone, this one seems nice, does it really support 8.0 MP as it described

reportedly it is 8.0 MP cameras, but http://www.cndigit.com/ this website indicates that while no official spec is listed we have to believe it is capable of 5.0MP. The 8.0 MP can not run on the said CPU.
