T-Mobile shows Nashville, TN some 3G love

Just like they did for Charlotte a few days ago, T-Mobile USA has flipped the on switch for 3G in Nashville, TN. G1 and MyTouch owners rejoice. Say hello to blazing speeds and goodbye to your battery life. Reports are streaming in from Twitter about happy T-Mobile customers, and it’s good to see T-Mobile well on track to the rollout plan they set for themselves.

Nashville T-Mobile customers, sound off at how excited you are.

Been hearing word from both sides of the fence, and coverage still seems spotty. Try reseting your phone if you’re still not getting it. Or check the T-Mobile coverage map for your specific area.

Well, I had use 2g networks checked on, but still no 3g. Looks like I’m in one of the sections without. It should be available at my work, though. So, I guess I’ll see when I’m there. Apparently it doesn’t stretch even a few feet outside of Nashville proper. Guess I’ll have to wait until… probably never for the rest of the TN areas to get 3g.

I have had 3G for quite some time in the downtown area. However even slightly outside of downtown there is no 3G footprint.. Kinda sad… Small 3G coverage area…

Yep, there is NO 3G coverage outside the immediate downtown area. I’m disappointed. My mom lives on the outskirts of Hamilton County (Chattanooga) and she still has 3G. So not fair.
