No, it's only for the mytouch and G1. The Cliq needs a different ROM and has not been rooted yet.

@David
Contacts will come back if you sync with google contacts.

One issue I noticed is the Bar Code app uses the UK version of google shopping.

@Weerdal
I did it all from my phone using AndroZip to allow me to download the zip and Astro to move it to the root.

Hmmm...has anyone else out there installed this? Everything seems to run quite a bit slower so far. Anyone else seeing that?

Can this be done from my g1 without a computer I’m a truck driver and have no access to a computer any help in fo or response will be greatly appriciated plz email me with any kind of response Weerdal@gmail.com

Theoretically, yes. But I wouldn't recommend trying it, just in case something goes wrong and you need to do a recovery back to the original image.
If you're going to try it you will probably need Download Crutch to download the file, and probably a File Manager program to move the file to the main SD card directory.
If you're on TMO US, I would recommend just waiting another week or so for the official OTA update to be released. Would hate to see someone get a bricked G1 with no computer to recover it.
