Screenshot of HTC Footprints Application Running on Android 1.5

Another screenshot of the HTC Hero Android 1.5 firmware. This time showing the HTC Footprints software from the HTC Cruise. Which let’s you capture “Postcards” and tag them with GPS coordinates for review by place. Nothing groundbreaking here, but it’s cool to see some new software running on phones we can’t get our paws on yet.

Does it have categories? Like work footprints and vacation footprints?

I’m furious with this app. The pictures are 200×200 thumbnails. I found that out after I took dozens of pictures on a trip I won’t be repeating anytime soon. This could be so cool and the utterly blew it. If nothing else, the app should warn you that you are not taking a full resolution photo.

I just discovered the same after a weeks holiday in Italy. Why just save thumbs??? Stupid

  • http://android.com Footprints for Android Rocks

Footprints is an awesome app, it’s used to geo-tag your pictures, it will record your location using the GPS in your phone as well as useful information related to each footprint, it’s an excellent tool to find your way when there’s no road signs. This app rocks. But it’s not a picture organizer or a replacement for your camera, where did you get that idea from?
