Now You Can Edit Google Spreadsheets On Your G1

February 13th, 2009

TechCrunch is reporting that Google just enabled editing of Google Spreadsheets for Android and G1 phones this morning. I just checked and it works. Now if they could let us edit Documents and Presentations, however limited it may be in the mobile version. It seems Google is rolling out updates for one of their services at least daily now. Nokia S60 series phones are also supported. You can check it out on a mobile phone by going to m.google.com/docs on your mobile browser. Google Gears is not supported yet, but we can only assume it will be in the future.

This is a kind of a small breakthrough. I believe this is the first instance of a smartphone which is capable of editing Office documents. Office-on-the-go.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.

    Cheers!
