We’ve seen that it is possible to install Android on the Asus Eee PC, now Liliputing is reporting complete instructions on how to install Cupcake on your Eee PC 701. This doesn’t look like a job for the faint-hearted, but it’s an interesting project for all you Android hackers out there. Android in its current form is more suited toward mobile phones, and may not be of much productive use on your netbook, but it’s a start toward being able to use the Android OS on “any device” as Google promised us way back when.
